…because actually we have not only one, but two anniversaries coming up in 2017:
- 25 years ago, Markus Hastenpflug met Hiroshi Shimodozono and brought the first premium organic green tea from Japan to Germany.
- 20 Years ago the company Shimodozono International GmbH was founded, from this point on the tea was distributed under the brand KEIKO.
as a pioneer for organic green tea in Germany Markus Hastenpflug has brought the company from a small enterprise operating from the living room to now 20 employees and retail and wholesale customers all over Europe and beyond.
We would like to celebrate this with you on May 13th and 14th at our company site in Diepholz.
Learn more about tea in general and KEIKO Tea in particular in presentations, workshops, tea ceremonies and cooking shows. Not all parts of the programm will be in English, but we are preparing an English intenerary for the whole weekend, so you don't have to worry about bringing your dictionary.
To top off the weekend the japanese drummers of Masa Daiko will give one of their electrifying shows. Their choreoraphy unifies the suspense and grace of martial arts, with musicality and a whole lot of rhythm in a powerful performance.
Sat, 13.5.: 12 AM -6 PM, free entrance
Sun, 14.5.: 10 AM -4 PM, free entrance // Concert: 4 PM, entrance: 15€ (advance) / 18€ (door)

Getting there and accomodation:
The nearest airport is in Bremen, from there it is a car ride of about 70 - 80 minutes to us.
Hourly trains run from Bremen Central Station to Diepholz (43 min), where a KEIKO shuttle will pick you up and take you the last few metres to our site (15 min walk).
We kindly ask guest arriving by car to park on the parking lot next to Diepholz station and take the shuttle, as parking space is very limited on our premises.
You can find a list of accommodation in and around Diepholz here.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
